BEAUTY: Painting--Vanessa Stockard

I could talk about Vanessa Stockard's wonderful, Impressionistic use of paint (I adore when artists use paint like cake frosting) but the thing that tickles me most about these touching, hilarious, charming images is the fact they are of her kitten Kevin sitting in various antique chairs ranging in style from Louis XIV to Louis XVI. I am not sure what I love more: that she named him Kevin or that he is wearing a teeny Elizabethan ruffled collar!
