BEAUTY: Painting--Lucy Gaylord-Lindholm
It is easy to see that California artist Lucy Gaylord-Lindholm is enamored with Surrealism and Dadaism by her portrait of Marcel Duchamp as a medieval saint (first image below)... and by the Dada-like contraptions (like Duchamp's found-object sculptures) she paints, such as "The Flailing Machine" and "Life Support." I really like how her brand of Surrealism operates within a Classical painting vernacular.
