BEAUTY: Photography--Freddy Fabris
Commercial photographer Freddy Fabris has turned his lens to fine art photography with his whimsical and beautiful Renaissance Series in which he poses auto mechanics to mimic famous paintings by Rembrandt, Champaigne, and Michelangelo. They may be auto mechanics, but they are posed, lit, and photographed exquisitely, just like a Renaissance painting.
Top to bottom: The Anatomy Lesson (after The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp by Rembrandt); The Creation of Adam (after Michelangelo's image from the Sistine Chapel); The Last Supper (after The Last Supper by Philippe de Champaigne); four portraits
