Austrian landscape photographer Patrick Vierthaler now lives in Japan where he has taken some breathtaking photos of Kyoto rock gardens and temples in snow. What glorious serenity.

Your pictures are indeed breathtaking. The beautiful simplicity of the Japanese style combined with the hush and stillness of the snow is just gorgeous. You have a wonderful eye to capture such images.
