BEAUTY: Clothing--Xander Zhou SS '13
Xander Zhou is a young Chinese menswear designer who studied industrial design in China and fashion design in the Netherlands. He established his label in 2007, is based in Beijing, and went to London for the first time this week to show at the behest of GQ China (and with the support of the Chinese computer megabrand Lenovo).
His style is minimal and futuristic (even space-y?), like a cross between Rick Owens, Mugler, and Gareth Pugh. I like the skirt-like shorts and the platform sandals.
