BEAUTY: Illustration--Miroslav Sasek
Legendary Czech illustrator Miroslav Sasek (1916-1980) published the first of his THIS IS series in 1958 with his book THIS IS PARIS. His charming, iconic mid-century illustrations went on to portray many beautiful cities around the world, including San Francisco, Rome, Edinburgh, and Venice.
