BEAUTY: Painting--Vasilis Avramidis
The surreal artwork of Vasilis Avramidis brings to mind 18th century landscape painting crossed with the imagery of early 20th century surrealist René Magritte. Here in Avramidis' work, we see what on first glance looks like overgrown, mossy ledges and man-made balconies, but the plant matter and moss create their own approximations of humans who are conspicuously absent from there landscapes...
