BEAUTY: Mixed Media--Guillaume Lachapelle

French Canadian artist Guillaume Lachapelle creates haunting scenes for his series Visions, consisting of neutral-colored maquettes of familiar places rendered nightmarish by the repetition of the locale. Endless corridors, endless suburban neighborhoods of tract homes, endless corporate offices, endless aisles of empty parking lots are reflected in a shadow box made of two--or four--pieces of one-way glass.
