BEAUTY: Clothing AND Art--Manon Kündig
Manon Kündig, a student at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Fashion Department in Antwerp studying under Walter Van Beirendonck (one of the legendary Antwerp Six), created a wild 3rd year collection called "Blow Job" which featured inflatable clothing, based upon what appears to be the doodles of a sixth grade heavy metal fan!
The Royal Academy of Fine Arts' Fashion Department has created some amazingly talented designers who don't create clothing or fashion, but who create costume and art. Kündig's wildly imaginative and humorous collection featured fake buck teeth and shoes that looked like cracker boxes decorated with skulls, nearly impossible to walk in. Of course the show stopper was the inflatable skull worn as an overcoat! Hilarious!
