Scrumptious. I am smitten with paintings that use paint like cake frosting and the work of Australian artist Lisa Madigan fits the bill. Her abstract work concerns itself with not only color but with the properties of the paint itself and how it spreads and sits on the canvas. These images are from her lovely Kaleidoscope series.
