BEAUTY: Painting--Deedee Cheriel
The deliberately naïve art work of Deedee Cheriel is beautifully fascinating: a bit of Native American iconography via Plains and Pacific Northwest, a bit of Egyptian hieroglyphics, and a bit of arcane symbology reminiscent of Tarot cards. And of course, regular readers know I am always in love with human bodies with animal heads...
