BEAUTY: Collage--Melissa Donoho

Regular readers know of my fondness for collage and the possibility for creativity the art form can bring--I have posted my own collage work before here. And while I use objects and imagery in collage, as do most collage artists, Melissa Donoho takes a wonderfully inventive and different approach! She finds beauty in vintage paper and the left over pieces of cut outs and cut ups, along with snippets of antique letters or photos. The addition of organic elements like a branch is startling.
