BEAUTY: Clothing--Daks

Filippo Scuffi at DAKS created a ravishing SS '17 collection shown at Milano Moda Uomo based on--yes, it is the most popular motif this season--the Indian Subcontinent. Glorious kurtas float and flutter over close-cut trousers. Suits come in dusty Madras plaids. And beautiful malas, silver jewelry, and wrist cuffs are the absolute perfect touch. I would wear each of these ensembles exactly as you see them. Just beautiful...

BEAUTY: Men--Indian Style

The classic Jodhpuri safa or turban comes from the state of Rajasthan, in northwest India. The turban is tied from 10 meters of fabric and features a tail in back and a fan crest on top. Safas generally come in red and yellow, but many different colors are worn as well. A jewel, called a kalgi, can be worn on the front of the turban.
