BEAUTY: Painting--Matthew Radford
British artist Matthew Radford presents a different take on images that look as if they are on pause in a VCR. In Radford's work, the color is off as well as on pause. He paints a great deal of blurry street scenes as well and I can't help but think of how the British have had to get used to being on CCTV every inch of their public lives. And we are catching up to them here in the US.
