BEAUTY: Clothing--Chalayan

For Spring Summer 2020 at London Fashion Week Men's, Hussein Chalayan showed a fascinating but subtle collection that seemed to reference the coming--and current--climate catastrophe by the blending of urban suiting with what appears to be hot-environs survival wear. Pieces are roomy and boxy for hot-weather comfort, double layer shorts seem to do double duty, pants have cord lace-up sides, some pieces feature what look like detachable sun coverings, and pants sport a place for walking sticks used for desert trekking.

Get used to it. A climate disaster is coming to an environment near you.
