BEAUTY: Sculpture--Georges Jeanclos
Georges Jeanclos (1933-1997) was an extraordinary French artist who worked in a delicate type of gray clay. His works reference Etruscan funerary urns, European Renaissance sculpture and Asian bas-relief in an oblique, modern way. His piece "Arrêtez" looks like an hallucination of Michelangleo's "Pieta."
